Donate to educate a health worker in a developing community!

Give today and make a difference this #GivingTuesday

We're fundraising to bring medical education and training to health workers in neglected communities.

Giving Tuesday is a day where a global movement of nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and philanthropists like you come together to promote and participate in giving to support better, more vibrant, and stronger communities around the world.

Donate to One Good Turn this Giving Tuesday and educate community health workers who, without you, would not have access to quality medical education or up-to-date resources. You can change that - donate today to give them the tools and knowledge to build self-sustaining, healthy communities.

Every dollar makes a difference.

$10,000 sends Dr. Ann Messer to a developing country to conduct training for community health workers.

$7,500 funds a scholarship for a college or medical student to participate in a project, allowing them to gain hands-on clinical experience in global health while providing medical services to community members and training health providers.

$5,000 provides customized educational programming for health providers in one community, including materials from the American Red Cross, WHO, and CDC.

$2,500 educates and employs one community health worker in a neglected community for five months, allowing them to effectively care for their community.

$1,000 funds physical exams for one school and its staff in one of our partner communities.

$500 prints and produces one healthcare handbook for a community health worker.

$250 funds a medical kit including a quality stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and oxygen monitor for a community health worker.

$100 provides birth control for one woman for three months.

$50 provides deworming medication for 250 people.
